wow i havent updated for a while again lol.

last week was clubs day at UBC so i had to help out JA for 3 days! so hectic but we managed to sign up around 160 members. hopefully the rest would sign up at the ice breaker!! its on October 8!! COME COME COME!

anyways, Jono is leaving tmr to Japan for a year so we had a farewell dinner for him yesterday at fogg n suds! man i really love love that place! the server was so nice and the food was so good as well! honey lager was on sale for 15.99 a pitcher and they got like 6-7 rounds of that. i just had my usual paralyzer in a fishbowl since it was fishbowl fridays :D

i still cant believe jono is leaving tmr. when he first told me he's going to japan to study, that was like february this year. and now tmr (which is like 7 months since then) hes actually leaving. le sigh. :( hes such a good friend, i will for sure miss him a lot!

sometimes, i am just really grateful for having someone there for me when i need them. i honestly really thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. i used to be scared, confused, lonely, and i keep everything to myself and those weren't the best days of my life. however, as life moves on, i realized that if you don't express yourself, no one will know what you are actually thinking. people around you won't know what you're thinking inside if you don't give them a chance to care about you. so, i will try to express myself more because life is seriously too short to not enjoy to the fullest.

a lot has happened since i last blogged.

for one, i still havent gotten my hair cut since i was extremely busy with my schedule due to the Summer Exchange Program by JA and there was also Anime Evolution...

the Japanese students came around 2 weeks ago and today would be their last day and we will be having a farewell dinner at the Keg steak house :3 (muahahaahah) overall, it was annoying at times to bring them out all the time and i got pretty sick of seeing them all the time... lol the whole program was also way too disorganized as we have so many last minute changes... == sigh. but yesterday i went to watch the cirque du soleil with them and it was hella amazing and awesome and so epically legendary! i would really recommend all of you to go. it was just too good to miss! though... i think watching it once would be enough. our seats were the $67 ones but our spot was really good! the place wasnt too small nor too big, it was just perfect. sound was good, view was good, the performers did so well!

anyways, there was Anime Evolution 2010 on aug 13-15 at UBC. overall it was pretty decent except the location should be changed.. lol it was a really hot weekend and everyone was dressed in multiple layers of clothing so they start sweating the moment they step outside == as i said in previous posts, i cosplayed Grell Sutcliff from Kuroshitsuji and also Len from Black Rock Shooter. i had a 2 hr long photoshoot with Kirk on Sunday with Melissa and Jin and it was so hella tiring lol. fun though! and the SEP students came to see the cosplayers too! i think i got stopped for more pictures on Friday than Saturday and Sunday combined though... cuz Grell is just such a lovable character :P

so i recently kinda "lost" my job because i am now "on-call" instead...so i went job hunting today!

first i went to IHOP cuz i rmb them hiring ppl on craigslist and the manager there said she could offer me the hostess position! she would call me back next monday and discuss the schedule... idk if im getting it for sure yet so i went to job hunt more afterwards in case.

i went to RC to meet up with Simone and we walked around RC a bit so i could hand out my resume. I applied at Blenz Coffee (again LOL) and also Sweet Factory >3< up ="]"><

anyways, after RC, i went to POSH to hand in my resume and then went to tom lee and met up with Anna there. we looked at some guitars and basses ...and then we went to Bubble world to drop off my resume. Anna said they're hiring right now .. so yeah lol. and plus anna works there so i'd have company if i do get hired. next we went to alexandra to drop off more resumes. I wanted to hand it into Manzo and Nanchuu but they werent open yet... I went into Leisure but the guy said they're not hiring atm... SIGH. anyways, after that we went to Lansdowne... and i handed in my resume to the korean restaurant there. and ...that was pretty much it lol. a total of six places! lets see how much replies i get... lol== i could always try the manzo near my house but... we'll see haha

so now im back at home... so tired. and so hungry. but its almost dinner time but my mom didnt prepare anything .____. goddd damn!

ahhh man today was such a tiresome day...

i woke up at 9 am so that i can get to UBC by 11pm for a JA SEP meeting... it lasted about like 3 hours technically but it seems like everything is finalized now so thats good. i waited till 3ish to meet up with Jono, then bused to get my car, drove home, get Simone and Cat's shoes and then went to Eri's to pick ppl up, drove back to vancouver and went to Kevin's house. did that within 2 hours. ughhh. aww man Uncle Kevin is leaving... sigh. good times good times.

the farewell party was really fun and i jumped on the tampoline with Eri for like half an hour LOL but i also scratched myself really badly @@ god damn but it was worth it =] never jumped like that in my life HAHAHAHA. I also saw Kai, who I havent hung out with for SO long, it was nice to see him and everyone again :D ahhh... how i miss those xenders day :( i listened to the recordings Uncle Kevin did for us... soooo hella nostalgic man lol. (and i just vocal cutted Moment of Breaking. LOL sounds better...totally loved the guitar) i also met a lot of new ppl today. or more like talk to ppl i "know of" but didnt have the chance to until now. good times good times. man i miss xenders.

really hope theres gonna be a party like that again! aside from that... i really want another job now. or rather a new job. my job now is sooo on call and idk what to do about it.... my hours are so unstable i dont even work this week =o= the hell man.... sigh

lol wow so i had like the most fucked up and epic and intense dream EVER last night.
i went to bed at around 2:30 and im guessing i slept around 3am. then i woke up at exactly 5:02 cuz i checked the time when i woke up. @@ so this dream happened within 2 hours. i quickly took my phone, opened the notepad and typed up the whole thing while its still fresh in my memory. so here goes:

so do ppl know how much i like wesley from wongfu? well i had a dream of how i met him at work. Somehow, i was working behind the scenes with the camera ppl at a broadcasting place. For some reason, the host/interviewer was not there that day and they made ME be the interviewer on the TV show. Well then i was like oh... okay. i guess so. and started to prepare for it. It turns out that Im supposed to interview Wesley LOL. i was so excited but things didnt work out.. the camera / lighting crew and shit failed so then i wasnt able to do the shoot. i met him backstage and he was in a suit and looked very cute and stuff. i went up to talk to him and i said omg i cant believe im meeting you in person. and he's like thank you and thought i was gonna ask for an autograph so he takes a pen from his jacket and i was like oh um actually, can i take a picture with u? Then he's like "oh sure" but he takes out HIS OWN PHONE and starts shooting it. The first picture turned out bad and so i asked for a second one so i was like "can we take another?" He's like "Sure" but this time another fangirl popped in and got in the pic with us. obviously im like "bleh.." but i didnt ask for a third one cuz i didnt wanna annoy him. Then hes like "should i send it to you now?" and im like "Sure!" and i took out my phone cuz hes gonna bluetooth it to me. but then im like "oh screw it, i wanna take it with my phone's camera too" so im like "oh hey lets take one with my phone too" and hes like "okay".

So i was trying to adjust modes and shit but nothing was right and im like "ahhh fucing shit why is this happening to me now?" and it took forever for me to fix it and hes just standing there so im like trying to make small chats with him like "oh hey hows wongfu doing?"... then before my phone worked again, i saw from the corner of my eyes that my family was coming up from he escalator.. while we were trying to camwhore (LOL WHAT THE SHIT..) i saw my dad looking at us but i ignored it. my dad walks over, stops us from taking a pic and said to wesley "look we need to talk." im guessing cuz my dad thinks he's my boyfriend or smth cuz we actually looked a bit intimidating (LMAO ohgod) and im like "What? no dad hes just a youtube celebrity!" and my dad went like "but stilll.." and wesleys like "its cool, u speak canto right?" and they were talking in canto while im trying to fix my phone. Finally the camera worked, took more funny photos and my mom (who was alone somehow) was like staring at us. Then somehow he ended up talking to my mom (mom him me but he's facing my mom but im looking down still fixing the phone or smth) about his career and hes like "yeah ive been working there for awhile and i've been married for over 20 years now." IM LIKE "OH WHAT?" He TURNS BACK to look at me and he turns out to be a SUPER OLD LOOKING GUY who kinda even looks like the hunchback of notredome dude. I woke up sweating and i would say its almost a nightmare at the end. Like gahhh noo who the fuck are you? wheres wesley?

very effed up dream... i think its a combo of too much wongfu, constant tweeting updates from youtubers, my chonny tweeting about his blogtv time for canadian viewers, my dad saying smth sweet to me last night, and just lots of wongfu in general and i recently rewatched "The One Days: HK- See Through" i hope thats why. i hope.

GOD DAMNIT ITS STILL IN MY HEADDDDD

So yesterday was Miyavi's Vancouver stop for his 2010 world tour and of course I went to see him since he really was the one that got me addicted to jrock. I usually have class but i skipped it (2pm-5pm... no way in hell) to get ready. went over to Jono's at 1:30 to and then waited for Fiona to go home so i went downstairs to her place. we were ready around 4:15 and left the place. when we got to Commodore which was around 5:15pm, there was already a huge line up but i saw a lot of people lining up already (so i budged in with them and no one said anything so... its all good!)

during the wait, Fiona and I got crepes from cafe crepe! Its good but i suggest you not to buy anything there... i got a nutella strawberry crepe for 9 DOLLARS... =o= i could have gotten like... a supersized meal at mcdicks!

anyways, so i got back in line and started eating and this girl came up to me and Carol and said she was working for Music Japan Plus (? did i get the title right? its a magazine apparently) and she wanted to do an interview with us and take us pictures of us... and post it up on the site o.o
well i was like "ohh yeah sure... but give me a minute im still eating" LOL but yeah i filled out a form for her and one of the question asked "What is your favourite band?" I paused for a second, looked up to Simone and asked "Should i put Screw or Deluhi?"

and then she took a picture of my front and my side. one thing i dont get it why she has to kneel down and take the shot from bottom up =o= and then she took a picture of "my fashion point" which i said its the headband thing i wore with the beads. TOTALLY MANABU INSPIRED <3

after that, we waited a bit longer and when its 7:20, we got to go inside already! we rushed through the crowd and basically ran to the stage. the left side of the stage was unoccupied so we took our spots in the first row!! yenju then texted me and i told him to come too and he came inside in like 5 minutes!! hahaha epic. so then we waited an hour and a half for miyavi to come out. SO DAMN LONG

anyways, the live i wont say much about it but it was pretty damn awesome and he is probably the most beautiful i've seen in my life so far. hes so mad pretty! and tall and his proportions are awesome. his legs... i want them LOL

he did an encore and before he went back in, he came to us and shook people's hands. i aimed for his chest but missed and touched his tummy or smth... but i did touch his hand twice :D

i headbanged alot last night... but i wouldn't say it was as hardcore as what i did in japan. there were limited space last night so there wasnt much i can do. i really hoped he would play more old songs though ...but yeah, it was still alright (his new songs)

at one point he mentioned melody and said "i love her and she loves me a lot too" wow... totally. sweet and cute >3< and he said that lovelie is already running around hahaah awwwww and thats why he can meet up with the awsome drummer and keyboardist/dj for the world tour. seriously, the ddrummer was so good! i was kinda disappointed that there wasn't a bassist... but the bass drums really boosted up the music. so good job drummer lol

after that, he went back inside and i immediately said MERCH TABLE MERCH TABLE! melissa grabbed my hand and i yanked her out of the group and we RAN towards the table to buy merch! i was really disappointed to not see the cap myv wore for sell... but i did buy a poster and a tshirt!

later we headed to mcdicks for food cuz i was damn hungry lol and it was already like 11:30pm! a double cheeseburger never tasted so good before LOL

so i went to fab last night and met pc >3< he didn't talk though.... fail == but he was really nice and got through a lot of people for taking pictures! :D
it was my first time at an asian club and like... its totally asian overload. surprisingly, i thought there are usually more girls clubbing but i saw A LOT of guys last night. jono and charlie were like "wow its a sausage fest in there LOL"

so Amelia and I are gonna start our own youtube channel. we had this idea about a month ago and we've been writing a lot of scripts these days. at least 12 to film already! maybe one day we'll get famous, then we can participate at those youtube gatherings. THEN

on another note, im still repeating lollipop part 2 by big bang, and played fire by 2ne1 for 5 hrs straight last night ~_~. Fire was originally 1xx plays. now it got bumped up to 2xx LOL

uhhh... only one week left of the break :S not cool. need to find more things to do!

yesterday was Amelia's birthday and we went for a dinner with other JA ppl. supposed to go to Ebisu, but they gave the table away because we were late and not everyone showed one. thank god, we found a table at Hapa though o.o amazing lol
after dinner, most of the ppl left and we went for shisha!
damn i miss that place...

OH OH, i went to the bay to get my canada hoodie =]
stupid hbc... they stocked up only TWO hoodies at the oakridge location so i was like wtfff?! it was only 9:40 and the store opens at 9:30.. == fml man
so i went to the one at rc right away and asked one of the ppl there. the woman was like oh sorry we dont have it, BUT her coworker behind her overheard us and she said "oh i think we have some at the back" SO OMG. she gave one to me and pui sze. hot damn. in red too!

i actually have no plans today... was gonna go to Aoyama cafe to visit Melissa, but my mom decided to eat at home :/ how rare... so yeah :S gomen ne!

olympics is crazy here! but its a nice feeling because you see everyone so united! random people on the streets will just suddenly start cheering "GO CANADA GO" or "LETS GO CANADA, LETS GO!" then ill just join in with them hahaha
i also see people wearing these canada flag capes and it looks so cool o.o kinda want one now... and i want to paint a maple leaf on my face LOL

im hoping to enjoy this two week break though i dont have much plans :/

i just watched the 2010 Vancouver Olympic opening ceremony. From the words of the my friends, they said it was really good during the dress rehearsal two days ago. Heck, they said it was comparable with the 2008 Beijing one. no shit o.o so i was kinda looking forward to it. and well, i actually slept through some parts of it == it was kinda boring during a few scenes... but nonetheless it was alright for its budget and efforts from CANADA. the lighting of the torch part though... technical difficulty time? lol

anyways, tomorrow is going to be the first day of my break. GOT TO ENJOY MY BREAK...
i'm going for dimsum with Amelia, though i bet it will be extremely crowded since it is Chinese New Years in just two days! I don't have much to say about CNY, other than its ... on the same day as valentine's day :(

yesterday though, i went to Carol's birthday dinner at an Italian restaurant on commercial called La Rocca. i saw Ashley again! man i missed her alot, haven't seen her since Dec o.o

holy crap, its been more than a month since i've updated.
schools been alright so far and im loving my schedule for this semester.
its kind of weird now... because i still feel like im really busy all the time. however, compared to my schedule in term 1, i shall be super free right now.

last term... i had 5 courses, 2 jobs, band, and JA. i seriously didnt know how i managed it lol
now... im only left with 4 courses and JA =]
